Going to the Moon

Another Giant Leap

By Mark Stigers Published 5 months ago • 1 min read

She sits in the sky

A challenge you see

It’s another place

For us to be

A base to learn

How to survive

In desolation

We stay alive

We’re going to the moon, that’s the plan

Another giant leap, for the race of man

On fiery rockets

High in the skies

modern tech

Before human eyes

Open the book

and write this down

We’ll never stop

We’re outward bound

We’re going to the moon, that’s the plan

Another giant leap, for the race of man

What will we learn

Who’s to say

Knowledge is

The human way

From a different

point of view

It will change things

We thought we knew

We’re going to the moon, that’s the plan

Another giant leap, for the race of man

Oh you know

It’s a hard deed

A great task

But we’ll succeed

And when it is done

And we look back

It’s Another win

A Human fact

We’re going to the moon, that’s the plan

Another giant leap, for the race of man
