God's Decision

As submitted To The 'Say It Again' Challenge

By Marc OBrienPublished 3 months ago • 1 min read
Character created by humanitarian Marc O'Brien

You watched me die

Staying quiet and shy

Bye-bye

Taped eyes

Sight terrified

Bye-bye

Line went flat, no one cried

Even though operating magician tried

Bye-bye

Bright light I cannot deny

My heart sighed

Bye-bye

Puffy cloudy sky

Swirl and fly

Bye-bye

Pointing back, responded angelic alibi

"You must multiply"

Bye-bye

Sparks flickered and fried

Scientifically implied

Bye-bye

To the heavenly butterfly

That justifies

Bye-bye

Deadly predator identified

Caught and tied

Bye- bye

Such a ride

To the other side

Bye-bye

I did not lie

Trusted the white coat guy

Bye- bye

Wearing a suit and tie

I see my lifesaving ally

Bye-bye
