God in the Countryside
Parisian Diaries; reflection piece

I'm living in a painting that changes everyday.
I am watching the hand of God continue to paint, while I am in it.
The landscape changes, it wears fresh brush strokes each day I wake.
The paint is still wet, and I am standing in the sheen canvas.
He's added another layer.
And each day he's adding another layer in me too.
My old leaves loosen from my grip. I let it fall.
With every falling leaf I shed a ghost of my past.
And the new color is gathering, quietly into view.
There is healing in each and everyday if one learns to seek the Artist’s hand moving through the world.
No portion of the canvas remains precisely as it was yesterday.
I am part of the picture.
He's added a few more rays today.
