Goat

In a meadow green, where wildflowers sway,

A playful goat spent its sunny day.

With a ball of red, it frolicked and played,

In the golden sunlight, joy never delayed.

Bounding through fields, with the ball in tow,

The goat’s laughter echoed, a cheerful flow.

Through meadows and glens, it chased with delight,

Underneath the clear blue sky, so bright.

But as the sun dipped low, and shadows grew long,

The goat’s ball bounced into a forest, where shadows throng.

Undeterred by the darkness, it followed its prize,

With curiosity sparkling in its eyes.

Deeper into the woods, the goat ventured on,

Unaware of the dangers, its innocence shone.

But in the depths of the forest, where shadows loom,

Lurked a wolf, waiting in the gloom.

With a glint in its eye, the wolf approached,

But the goat, undaunted, boldly encroached.

With a playful bleat and a wag of its tail,

It greeted the wolf, without fear to assail.

Surprised by the goat’s cheerful demeanor,

The wolf’s heart softened, its gaze became keener.

Instead of a foe, it found a friend,

And in the forest’s depths, a bond did mend.

Together they played, beneath the moon’s soft glow,

In the forest’s embrace, where dreams overflow.

For in the unlikely friendship they’d found,

They discovered joy, where love knew no bound.
