Go To Hell

December 23, 2015

Shone and reflected

Revealed and returned,

The light, it knows,

To where it will return.

This light, illuminates

The corners which harbor

Fugitive demons

Within the walls.

They are not simply,

Around, or, nearby,

They are incorporated

In our self.

Part of the foundation,

That if removed,

Would make a porous

Rock, leaving us unstable.

So alas, it is mixed in,

The demon flows throughout,

In each organ, in each cell,

This demon knows us well.

We try to ignore.

We try to swim away.

But it’s the cement shoes

The bring us to our grave.

Embrace to incorporate.

The darkness exists,

Because of the light.

No matter the pain.

Embrace to extinguish.

The light exists,

To dispel darkness.

To show the way.

Without a demon,

Our angels grow weak,

And without a god,

It’s all nonsense.

So without a devil,

There is nothing to triumph,

We go through Hell,

To know there is a Hope.
