From our death
We fertilize the soil
To give root to beauty
Which will live on beyond us,
But what of us..?

Perhaps the beginning and end are one in the same,
Vacant of consciousness within an aimless vessel
Floating through the endless nothing..
*
Our only solace is having this one life,
To love it desperately,
Without hoping for another.
