I was a little boy

Times were not good always

Hunger was my favorite world

Mom would go grocery shopping

Sometimes I'd beg to go

She would tell me no

It's all good no worries

Guess I'll wait for her

It's such a gloomy day

Depression eating way my brain

Need something to get away

Broke as a joke nowadays

At the crib by myself

Sulking like a little baby

Finally, Mom returned with groceries

She bought some red grapes

The taste was just glorious

Really made me feel better

Taste buds screaming for more

My day finished really great
