Glass Splinter

Smithereens Series

By Katrina RinkePublished 9 years ago 1 min read

Dark coffee fragment

Unspoken word flying towards the glass

It struck back and hit my face

Verve red blood was dripping on concrete

Clouds were filed with dark dazzle

Sea storm that I had never met

And I thought that I might love you a bit

And maybe this sentence will never strike through the glass

Glass smithereens torn hand

Coldness filling an empty room

And I want to take the last smoke

And clash the sentence through the glass

But only now the glass is crumbled

The sentence is stabbed in glass splinter

Maybe I will never tell you

Maybe you will never know that...
