*This was written a couple of years ago, this woman's strength is amazing, truly a testament that we serve a miracle working God, she lost her daughter that year but not her faith!

Your hurting

The pain so raw

You can cut

It with a knife

Trying to

Get through each

Day

Moving along

On autopilot

It’s Okay

To not be

Okay

Give yourself

A little grace.

Give yourself

A little grace

The pain you

Feel is raw

And real

Going with the

Motions,

Wearing a

Sad smile

It’s Okay

Not to wear

The masks

Your hurting

And it’s okay

To not be okay.

You have bore

A heavy loss

Heartbroken

And full

Of pain

Simply trying

To go with

The motions

That get you

Through the coming days

It’s Okay

Not to be okay.
