Fiery Free Spirited Red Head
There once was a free-spirited young girl named Jayden.
Who had grand dreams of being a fair maiden.
Though she struggled with road rage directly caused by her anger
Which in turn made this young lady's daily life a cliffhanger.
For this day-dreamer had fiery ginger hair, most feared could cause a vast conflagration.

Wildflower
Wildflower, Wildflower, how misconstrued are thee. Never to be the chosen one, forever doomed to be the forgotten one. Passed by without the turn of a head, not even the blink of an eye. Opt out for flowers held in higher esteem. The quite costly array, approved by stuffy aristocrats, the arrogant elite, the contemptuous hoity-toitys, the orthodox clout chasers, with their pockets full of posy. Only held in treasure by local pollinators. For wildflowers don't abide by set out rules, nor join in the masses, unified by the majority, pulled like puppets on a string, minions, all seeking omnipotent social conformity.

Reaching Out
I promise her. I'd do anything for her. She's my mom. Even as Lanie and Deanna are flying home, Mom is scrappy fighting dying. She lays too still in that too-big bed with all the toasty white hospital blankets, in the south tower, at the broad end of a long slow-turning corner that delivers me again to her private room with the view she can't see through, with the beeping that tells us nothing new, and all these ice chips she can't swallow, and a flood of well-intentioned nurses who cannot do a damned thing all the same.
