Clouds in the shape of a winged creature.

“Shhh,” she whispered.

Intently, she watched him.

Lying there, grinding out each breath.

Enough is enough, she thought.

Neatly, she tucked in his sheets.

Cupped his face in cold hands.

Ended his suffering with a kiss.
