The room is dark, the shadow creeps slowly

Ever so slowly, beneath my sheets

Up, up, it slithers, past my toes

Now caressing my naked legs with bony creepy fingers

My heaving, quivering, paralyzed chest feels violated

My breasts are groped by death's unholy ghoul

My neck pulsates, repulsed by it's eerie touch

My lips quiver, trying to form words of deep disgust

Then a most monstrous head emerges, lips pressed

To my lips. The lips of death.......

I am neither awake nor asleep

Sleep paralysis renders me unmoving

I don't know about you

But in dire straits we all become holy

"The lord is my shepherd, I shall not want

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures

he leadeth me beside the still waters.......

What is the next line..... I don't remember

Get off me you fucking ghost!

No disrespect meant to you Jesus!

Oh yes. I will fear no ill, for his name's sake

I think is the next line

I regain my voice

A scream of sheer terror erupts from my throat

The slimy thing squeaks

Flies from beneath my sheets

Out the closed door, never to return

I awake in a cold sweat

I hope my sainted mother was not listening

Stinking ghost. Don't come back here

Ever again. Ewwwww!

I need a bath!
