Garden Paradise
Try to create a garden for on good

To have a garden
is to have a friend
you can visit anytime
and come back
with a better mood.
It’s a pantry,
something to munch on —
a few peas, edible flowers,
or a bunch of
spring onions for salads —
a cornucopia year-round.
A shrine for serenity,
spiritual to see things grow
in harmony with seasons.
Many peaceful nooks,
to hang out with books.
A gym for workout —
plant, prune, water,
stake, compost, and more.
soak sun, break a sweat
while smelling the dirt.
A wildlife sanctuary
where finches and sparrows,
bees and lizards appear,
forage and take shelter.
It’s a microcosm of nature,
food chain, life-death cycle,
always teaching galore.
A garden is to create
a personal paradise,
on this earth, I believe.
