In the garden behind her house, Rosemary meticulously tended to the flowers, though her hands often forgot their purpose.

The garden was her sanctuary, a patch of earth where blooms flourished with a vibrancy she struggled to recall in her daily life. Her mind, worn by the passage of time, was a fragmented puzzle, but amidst the roses, lilies, and daffodils, a flicker of her past came alive.

She knelt by the old rose bush, its blossoms a rich crimson. Rosemary's fingers traced the velvety petals, and as she did, the scent of roses transported her back to a sunlit afternoon decades ago.
