Galloping To the Devil’s Door
She rode the horse to the devil’s door,
A sky like blood, a silent war.
No stars above, just clouds like stone,
And every step cut to the bone.
The reins were tight, her jaw was set,
A deal was made, a dark regret.
No turning back, no whispered prayer,
Just fire and smoke that choked the air.
The beast beneath her stamped and burned,
A heartless pace, no path returned.
The night was wide, the wind was raw,
A silent judge, a broken law.
Her shadow stretched along the ground,
A ghostly shape, a hollow sound.
The devil waited, still and cold,
His twisted grin, his fingers bold.
No words were spoken, none were spared,
A cruel exchange, a soul stripped bare.
The horse stood silent, black as sin,
Its haunted eyes stared deep within.
She gave her name, she gave her breath,
A wicked pact, a willing death.
The door swung wide, the deal was done,
And all was lost beneath no Sun
