Funny thing, isn't it?

It's funny how we aspire to pursue some epic course,

But complain about the process, without consideration or remorse,

It's funny how we desire to have the deepest love,

Yet sorrow and adversity would crush it under storms above,

It's funny how we talk about venturing and pursuing dreams,

Yet never venture away from society already deems,

It's funny how we want some dramatic change,

Yet the moment it should happen the mind would the derange,

It's funny how we claim to fight for peace and then restore,

Yet desire some greater conflict, and continue praying for war,

It's funny how we just go about and talk,

Yet refuse to take some action, to actually walk the walk.
