FULL HOUSE

FATHERHOOD:

He carries a seed

one with no life.

It lives not in him

that he may be free to fight.

He fights for the rights of these seeds

and those he does not bare.

He fights for there rights to

security and their fair share.

Woman carries seeds;

but they come to life inside her.

So, fathers must fight

due to the fragility of a mother.

Father is a being

sent from above.

Father is a value,

a concept meaning love.

IF YOU LIKED THREE MEN AND THE LITTLE LADY:

I admit that I am old school. Plus, I don't watch much television these days which makes me unable to know much about modern programs. All my favorite shows are mostly from the eighties and nineties. The one I'd like to promote is Full House. And, if you liked, Three Men and The Little Lady, you'll love this one.

One of my favorite things about Full House is the character of the men and the one woman and the fact that they instilled that same character into the three little girls on the show. I loved the fact the three men had character that would allow them to be able to raise girls without the assistance of a woman.

All three men were so humble that they could not be broken. They were very comfortable expressing their feelings even if they became upset about things that seemed minor, even if they became upset about things that a child had to do with - like something a child said or did. They were comfortable enough with their feelings and limitations that they would express and admit to their feelings even to the child. It's a characteristic that renders a destructive ego powerless.

Another one of my favorite things about the show has to do with how much I love to watch programs with strong women. Rebecca Donaldson, who was the main female character on the show, was a very confident woman with such inner security and ways that help maintain inner security, confidence, and dignity. And while on most shows once a main character finds a mate, they seem to become lame, and the show becomes lame to one degree or another, the addition of this female character and mate to the show actually improved what was already an awesome show.

THE DECENT MAN:

The decent man,

and man means woman too;

Oh, what he finds

that life will put him through.

He wakes up every morning

being true to his honor.

He goes to bed

having overlooked all conflicts that are minor.

But no matter how great he is,

he won't cease to see the pain of another.

He will never ever stop

the tears of his brother.

And the next man and life

shall look for his fall,

tearing here and there

at his honor and all.

NOT ALL PEACHES AND CREAM:

Another very classy thing about Full House is that despite the shows very positive nature, it didn't leave out that there's hardship in life.

One of my favorite episodes was Silence Is Not Golden. In this episode Stephanie, who is one of the three little girls being raised by the three male characters, brings a friend home one day. And she finds out that he's being abused by his father. She tells her Uncle who is one of her male guardians parenting her with two other men. He has to get her to understand that, though her friend asked her to keep his problem a secret, they needed to report his issue to the authorities so that he could be protected.

That's the type of issue that was shown on Full House which kept the show knowledgeable and in no way showing naivety. Because, an honorable person can be naive, or ignorant by being over optimistic and not seeing the abiding harsh side of life. But that is not becoming of an honorable person.

MEN VERSUS WOMEN:

Men versus women;

Husbands against wives;

The battle of all times;

The mystery of our lives.

Never will it end.

Never will it die.

But we seek to find happiness

in between those fighting times.

The story of our lives

will remain in a blues song.

Still, love manifests

in the midst of it all.

MEN VERSUS WOMEN:

One of the common hardships in life that was represented on Full House is the battle of the sexes.

Whether it was Becky and Jesse, Danny and Vicky, or DJ and Steve, there were many boy/girl battles; but never did an argument between two people fighting ever turn vulgar, or too insensitive. The show remained very considerate of the integrity of humanity. No one ever stooped low enough to appear to have no home training, or discipline. The battles simply kept the show interesting, fun, and funny.

I'VE SAID ALL I HAD TO SAY ABOUT WHAT IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE SHOWS; AND I HOPE THAT IT HAS ENCOURAGED OTHERS TO GIVE IT A CHANGE AND TO WATCH POSITIVE SHOWS SUCH AS THIS.
