Frustrated Cry

Tears of Loneliness

By Teresa NashPublished 9 years ago • 1 min read

Hot tears burn her cheeks while she drives,

She can't hold them back any longer,

Alone in her loneliness,

She cries in stoic silence,

There will be no dramatics,

She weeps alone for herself,

The naive little girl she once was,

The lonely woman she is now,

The clouds reflect her somber state,

Rain pouring down unwavered,

She let's herself break just a little,

Circumstances making her realize her mistakes,

Her exterior calm aside from her streaming tears,

The world unaware of her frustration.
