-*-
I don't want to look back,
as I don't want to see
what I am leaving behind
while I try to break free.
-*-
I don't want to go back,
to the same crudity
that was part of my life
filled with impropriety.
-*-
Now, I need to forget
what I was and was not;
after all, I realize
I may have just one shot.
-*-
Now, I need to remember:
It's my choice where to steer;
I'll do my utmost
going across my frontier.

Started writing short stories back in 1988 at work, when I had an empty page to fill for the employee's internal magazine. Taking the pen again after a 30 year-long hiatus, exploring where it takes me this time.
