From: The Void

To: The Ghost

By Travis DylanPublished 5 months ago Updated 5 months ago 1 min read

a kiss that just is.

no spectral spark.

no giving.

no memory.

no five plus senses.

did this kiss run out?

a kiss that just is.

traced out from its form:

kissing a night ghost

ghost recipient [form].

spilling emptiness

into emotion.

a heart break void fills.

a kiss that just is.

traced out from

trials of true love.

maybe its lips

left its kiss behind.

overflowing lips

trickling magic—

for someone else

too full for a void

to fill its void.

fluttering tastebuds.

what happens when a

void kisses a ghost?

a kiss that just is.

no energy.

no spirit.

no phantom pain.

no reality.

a void kiss

kissing a ghost

whose first kiss

and many kisses

before their death

were seeping

with real red life.

surreal poetry
