From Soil to Sky

Time is a crucial element in everything we do as humans. Time plays a vital role in our relationships, goals, career and work.

This is one of my best poems which reminds about the essence of every step I take and it makes me embrace the process (not just results).

a. Everything requires time

b. Everything requires patience

c. Because process precedes product

d. Agriculture calls it germination.

a. When we sow,

b. We venture into a deal

c. Facilitated by time.

d. In months or years,

e. We harvest a crop

a. Time is a process.

b. Therefore, take your time.

c. But don’t waste your time.

a. To become a master,

b. You need to practice.

c. Practice is the path to mastery.

d. The cost of mastery is the time invested in practice.

a. An injured sportsman needs time to recuperate.

b. Healing is a process

c. Which completes its life cycle overtime.

a. A farmer in the West tills the soil.

b. He sows the seeds.

c. His dedication is solid.

d. In due time, he irrigates the plants

e. He sticks to the process.

f. Doing the needful in its appointed time.

a. In four, five years or more

b. A commoner becomes a graduate

c. She mingles with kings

d. One day, she will dance with the priest

e. Someday, she will preach to the pew

a. In fullness of time,

b. The fearful infant will stand to take a walk

c. A walk to freedom

a. Her initial efforts are futile

b. Yet she continues with the process

c. Because not to dare is same as death.
