The battle within

I cry real tears, while your eyes are dry

I run from fears, while you hold none inside

I’m scared to see myself, and all that I’ve become

You show no remorse at what you’ve done

Your everything I hate, I’m all that you despise

You’re the one thing I can’t stand; I’m the one you wish would die

I struggle everyday, you long to say goodbye

But one of us without the other would be half of a whole

So until the end of days we’ll battle for control.
