You and I
You and I will be good friends for life
They used to say this
I remember one time
We hadn’t seen each other for a long time
When we met again, your hair had grown long
We didn’t say anything
You just smiled at me and I smiled at you
If I knew magic
I would definitely turn you into Snow White
Then I would marry you
You and I will be good friends for life
At least for now
You are my shadow and I am your shadow

Love the raw simplicity of this poem. Love how you describe the passage of time through the length of hair.💖❤️💖
You have beautifully captures the nature of relationships that evolve over time, with the passage of years and changing circumstances
