For years I’ve stood lifeless, target in hand

Directing the world where the arrows should land

No defense or fight to stop the attack

Just more guidance to find the soft spot on my back

I guided your blade, surrendered my hand

When I saw an escape, I revealed my plan

The thought that I deserved better, to me, never occurred

When it comes to myself, all my boundaries are blurred

But that never stopped you

You simply refilled your surplus

When I needed your help, you used me - against us

The phrase, friendly fire, now has a new meaning

What kind of friend cuts the throat of their friend, while they’re screaming

heartbreak
