Secrets of the Soul

By Kisama Riyo Published 2 years ago • 1 min read

When I left my notebook open

I didn't know the rhyme would go

Those in the heart reveal

The secrets of the soul that loom on the horizon

The world told me one day

That I would be filled with wounds

And if I got a little angry

Would it then become sores?

And if I left the door open

Would a ghost kidnap me and advise me?

Time folds and the towers ascend

No time, O pen, for that revelation

The secrets of the heart have begun to appear

On the banks of the displaced hope

All that remains for me is the night in the wilderness

Oh my sadness, depart from the soul

Before you become an orphan on the roofs

When I found my notebook open

I did not know that the rhyme from it overflows

And the heart was then full of wounds

And my hope spent its life on the towers

And the heart betrayed my secret so it revealed

And left me searching with my anxiety on the roofs

Oh my secrets, be a key that hides the wounds

For I no longer have the strength to expel all the wounds from me

If I close my notebook, I become in mourning

And if I open it, I am forced to reveal

So what should I do, O soul, to free the soul?
