Fragments of the Heart

A heartbreak poem

In the quiet of the night, where shadows weep,

Lies a tale of love lost, where memories creep.

A heart once whole, now shattered and torn,

By the cruel hands of fate, it's left forlorn.

In the echoes of laughter, now silenced and still,

Lingers the ache of a love that once thrilled.

Promises whispered, now broken and frayed,

As the symphony of love turns to a dirge played.

Each tear that falls is a melody of pain,

A lament for the love that will never reign.

In the caverns of the heart, where dreams decay,

A solitary figure kneels to pray.

For heartbreak is a storm that rages deep,

Leaving scars that no time can ever sweep.

But in the ashes of despair, a spark remains,

A glimmer of hope amidst the rains.

For love may falter, but it never dies,

It's reborn in the tears that fall from eyes.

And though the heart may break, it learns to heal,

With every beat, it finds the strength to feel.

So let the tears flow, let the pain subside,

For in the darkness, love will always abide.

For even in heartbreak's bitter embrace,

There lies the promise of a new dawn's grace.
