Against the ever-expanding void,
Where the light meets the dark,
there is a small mellow filled with
the most vibrant petals you'll ever find.
And if you step closer,
you'll find that the stars burst
from a non-existent source,
filling the dark with an array of colors
that buzz and pull the void,
making it hard to focus on a single spot.
Forgetting the shadows that loom behind.
But if you were to fall in love with this dream,
would you be able to wake yourself when the morning comes?
When dawn's light cascades,
Would reality even compare to the void you were just in?
The petals that settle in the tracks,
have already left roots
that spitter deeper into the soil,
and fill the void with every star you called upon.
Against the blinding light,
you're pushed towards a limitless end,
begging you
to touch further into the unknown,
where the whispers of "something more"
tug you to pull apart the veil.
What will you find when you
reach the space between light and dark?
Will this dream finally blend
with the wishes you've longed for?
"And if I were to fall in love with this dream?
Would I be able to wake myself up when the morning comes?
When dawn's light floods,
Would reality compare to the dream I held in my hand?"
