I know things are hard right now

it seems like the

disappointments

just don't

ever end

and the hurt is aimed

straight at your goodness

hot tears fall and slowly

turn cold

He's still bottling those tears

He hears your pleas

He sees your sadness

He feels your heartache

He knows your struggles

but know that

He's tempering you

in the fire

He's making you

stronger

He's making you

sharper

He's making you

unbreakable

it takes intense heat

to shape you

but

there's another

in the fire

standing

next to you.

β€œThen King Nebuchadnezzar leaped to his feet in amazement and asked his advisers, β€œWeren’t there three men that we tied up and threw into the fire?” They replied, β€œCertainly, Your Majesty.” He said, β€œLook! I see four men walking around in the fire, unbound and unharmed, and the fourth looks like a son of the gods.” Nebuchadnezzar then approached the opening of the blazing furnace and shouted, β€œShadrach, Meshach and Abednego, servants of the Most High God, come out! Come here!” So Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego came out of the fire, and the satraps, prefects, governors and royal advisers crowded around them. They saw that the fire had not harmed their bodies, nor was a hair of their heads singed; their robes were not scorched, and there was no smell of fire on them. Then Nebuchadnezzar said, β€œPraise be to the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, who has sent his angel and rescued his servants!” Daniel‬ ‭3‬:‭24‬-‭28‬ ‭NIV
