Forever Lost in Sunshine
Golden rays spill over fields of laughter,
soft as the whispers of careless days.
Footsteps fade in the hush of summer,
lost in warmth, in light’s embrace.
Eyes like mirrors, bright with echoes,
reflecting joy too pure to stay.
The breeze hums songs of moments,
melodies time will steal away.
Petals drift where we once lingered,
ghosts of blooms in amber air.
Forever lost in sunshine and smiles,
held by light that is no longer there.
