A visit to Mars will do just good

A feather and scroll come first in my backpack.

Fed up with all the inanity in this globe? Am taking a leave. A visit to mars will do just good. Better I get packing.

Am taking my poetry with me.

Not to leave a trace, am put all my scraps to blaze. Not only to cage my copyright but by privacy too.

Just looking for some “me-time”. I mean, keeping my distance won’t break any bone. You just can’t name the price of my peace.

Why keep hoaxing with clowns on earth yet a place awaits me on Mars?

Would you mind making some alien buddies?

Wouldn’t mind having crowns dying to call me baby even for once.

For now, bye-bye Mother Earth.

About the Creator

Fred Musoke

I want to give my writing a fragrance. I mean, that redolence which won’t only outlast my generation, but will also nudge the souls on Mars.
