For all that could be.

For all that was between us,

All that resides within us as of now,

And all that may be as the story plays out,

With every storm we have yet to weather,

With each trial we have yet to face,

Despite pain or tribulations yet endured,

With wounds we both have inflicted and will inflict,

Through every careless word tossed about,

And the insults yet thrown as a knife to the heart in folly and in vein,

I am both greatful and humbled,

Thankful and would express sincere gratitude,

To have a woman as lovely and compassionate,

As tenderhearted and caring as you, my dear.

Love, is a delightful but difficult thing.
