With the serenity of silence,

Dusk descends on the meadow.

Green blades slice through the blue of day

And now melt to deep indigo as

Dusk descends on the meadow.

See the stars silently shine.

And now, melt to deep indigo as

You drift into your dreams.

See the stars silently shine—

They haven’t left you as

You drift into your dreams.

They are closer, are they not?

They haven’t left you as

Your consciousness has,

They are closer. Are they not

Beautiful?

Your consciousness has

Drifted into twilight now. What you see is

Beautiful

Beyond its name.

Drifted into twilight now, what you see is

The dusk that is falling. Past its time,

Beyond its name.

It leaves you.

The dusk that is falling past its time

Darkens. Now twilight is midnight.

It leaves you,

And your dream

Darkens. Now, Twilight, is midnight

Here to stay?

And your dream—

Can it linger?

Here to stay,

Green blades slice through the blue of day.

Can it linger

With the serenity of silence?
