How do you hide it so well?

Hide what?

Your scars.

Because I do not know how to show them.

~

Is it even possible to find relief?

Sometimes.

You know it?

I've wished it 'til the sky went grey and so did my soul.

What happened?

I cried too much.

~

I don't know what choice to make; I feel like I have to step on through the fog, but I can't look down to see if there is a cliff.

No one else shows their scars

So I am compelled to hide my own.

How is it even possible to feel so much

And show so little?

I hold space for the burdensome suitcases and dreams I carry

Yet everyone else packed light.

Is it the journey or the fog that is short?

Or are they unaware of their need for weights in case they fall?
