Distant stares and tapping toes
Inner worlds that no one knows
So many thoughts at once you see
To target less than thirty three
Rattling keychains, subtle sighs,
Aging speakers spinning lies,
Creaking floorboards and flashing lights,
Twittering sparrows taking flight,
Inner doubts and hopes and fears,
Outer textures, clicking gears,
Never stop throughout the years.

Awesome!!! ❤️❤️💕
Awesome job with this! I don't have ADHD/ASD but I can relate this a little to my anxiety and touch of OCD. Also this reminds me of when I'm in the classroom teaching and there are so many distractions going on with the kids 😅 You did a great job of painting all these sensory nuances with lovely language :)
