FLY (Yes, the pest)

written sometime in my past

I'm contemplating the moments

as I sit wondering..

wandering aimlessly.

I watch a fly on the wrapper of my Bob's Burgers Taco.

Flies annoy me.

Not because they sit atop your food,

stinky feet and all,

rubbing their forelegs together...

as if in glee...

in prayer,

to their Fly God for the meal they are about to receive.

Maybe that's why they annoy people..at least myself.

Because they are so much like us...

they live in moments.

In prayer...

to an unseen god...

before that short life is snuffed!

The end.
