I expected to sink

But the air in my lungs decided against it for today.

Passivity pressing and constricting against every passion I fight for

The miserable uniformity of every moment I spend in this liquid prison

Unexpectedly reminds me of

Who I am.

Deceptive, my mask as it is seen from above

Tried to consume the reverse of my scalp

But there are no secrets there.

In between each minute passing,

I know that they mutter I was too quick to jump

I released the chains swiftly from my hands

And easily rolled to breathe

A prison, I turned into a meditation

The discipline to think so wonderfully of the world

Is all I required from myself.
