Flicker Flame

I see a heart-- burnt

Far beyond recognition

Carbon clump crumbles

In my hand-- charred husk,

It would appear-- were it not

Revealed by mind's eye:

There's good left inside!

The hot coals you dragged me through,

Calling me useless

This Purifying

Flicker still glowing inside--

One thing you can't take
