Five-hour love

The first hour, a spark ignites, a flicker in the dark,

A stolen glance, a nervous smile, a whispered, hopeful spark.

Two souls collide in chance's dance, a melody unknown,

A fluttering of hearts, a symphony yet to be sown.

The second hour, conversation flows, a babbling, eager stream,

Words tumble forth, unedited, a rushing, joyful dream.

We share our secrets, hopes, and fears, a tapestry unfurled,

Our vulnerabilities laid bare, a precious, fragile world.

The third hour, time slows its pace, the world melts out of sight,

Lost in laughter, stolen touches, bathed in golden light.

Eyes locked, a silent language speaks, a universe unfolds,

In this enchanted space we stand, a story yet untold.

The fourth hour, a deepening tide, emotions start to swell,

Hesitant confessions whispered, a love story we can't dispel.

Fingertips intertwined, a warmth begins to bloom,

A yearning in our hungry hearts, to chase away the gloom.

The fifth hour, surrender's call, a vulnerability embraced,

Two souls entwined, a passionate, intoxicating haste.

In the quiet hush of stolen moments, dreams begin to take flight,

Five fragile hours weave a spell, bathed in love's tender light.

But dawn approaches, casting shadows, a harsh and sobering light,

Reality intrudes, whispering doubts that take their flight.

Will this fleeting spark ignite, a flame to carry through?

Or fade with morning's pale embrace, a memory bittersweet and blue?

Yet, in those stolen five hours, a world within us changed,

A seed of love has taken root, however rearranged.

We carry with us whispers soft, a melody untold,

The echo of a love's first bloom, a story yet to unfold.

For even if the path diverges, and future winds may blow,

The memory of those five hours, a fire that softly glows.

A reminder of the magic sparked, the potential we did see,

A love story in its nascent form, forever meant to be.
