With frenzy danced the native girl
Feet aflame and skirts a swirling
Limbs a whirl and crimson gleam
Hypnotic piercing glare
~
She swallows all, with lustful greed
Scarlet lips into a smile are curling
At her feet, the forest pleading
Trapped within her snare
~
Wind-whipped she seethes...inferno fury
Latent savage wrath unfurling
Black, the smoking stench of death
Offended nostrils flare
~
Merciless she forges forward
Tongues of flame from fingers burning
Once fertile, fruitful lands of plenty
Consumed without a care
~
Jungle green caressed by crimson
Like the leaves in Autumn turning
Broken-backed and crippled tumbling
Leaving branches bare
~
Through straw roofed village huts she shrieks
and through the smouldering streets she's whirling
Avert your eyes for fear of falling
Or at your life she'll tear
