Soles are bloody from

chasing freedom through

city streets. Soul is muddy

from pacing through history-

museums with dirty feet.

Gold and money are the two

life ingredients for sugar-sweet.

Pouring bowls of honey over

carcasses of butchered meat.

Melting coals of chocolate over

goddesses to feed the beast.

To be free is to be brave

enough to feel the heat.
