Who knew that in this world there is a monkey the size of a finger it’s called The pygmy marmoset, it’s the smallest monkey in the world. They are native to the rainforests of South America, particularly in the Amazon Basin

Pygmy marmosets have a unique way of communicating through high-pitched calls and vocalizations. They are social animals that live in small family groups and are known for their strong bonding with their mates.
These tiny primates have a diet consisting mainly of tree sap, insects, fruits, and small vertebrates. They have specialized teeth for gouging tree bark to access sap, which is their primary food source.
Pygmy marmosets are highly agile and are able to leap long distances between trees in the dense rainforest canopy. They have a prehensile tail that helps them maintain balance while moving through the treetops.
Unfortunately, pygmy marmosets are threatened by habitat loss due to deforestation and illegal pet trade.

They are cute, but I do not think I want one for a pet. This would make a good science preschool lesson.
