He hugged her tight,
and she smiled wide.
He gave her light,
and she never lied.
Protector of my dreams,
the keys to my wisdom.
Knitted at the seams,
leaving a breadcrumb.
Discovering who I am,
will only take time.
But I don't give a damn,
it's on my own dime.
