People want you to feel how you make them feel
That child screaming in the supermarket
All eyes are on you …the parent
How do you feel?
POWERLESS
As does the child…
They aren’t aware of it
But they want you to feel how they feel.
It’s still happening
When we are adults
For good or Ill
Think about it
It’s why we lash out…
If they make us feel joy
We throw that right back at them too
Be mindful
If you feel like hell
After an encounter
Breathe
Count to ten
Try not to throw that handful of shit that you feel
It’s hard
It’s a basic reaction
I’m in pain…
Now …your words
Or maybe your actions created that feeling in me
You can have it back!
With Bells on!
…..
Try to resist that impulse
Unless of course the feeling is good!
Ok
You can spread that around!
