Fear holds me back.

I don't see it.

I see the sadness.

I see how I am treated.

Unsure of what to say.

Been lied to, been called stereotypes.

How can it be so bright?

Fear makes us do crazy things.

As I see the fear in my reflection.

I want it to change.

I don't want to be afraid.

I don't want to be seen through their eyes as a wacked job.

Why do I care so much?

Should it matter to me?

She doesn't know me.

She doesn't know how I feel inside.

A stranger I am living the lie.

A fraud I should be.

But no I am not.

I look in the mirror I see someone inside.

I am lost and alone.

Yet I am not alone.

I could be in the shadows surrounded by people yet I am unaware of what I should see.

I look to the future but it's unclear.

As I decide what to do I feel like I have something to prove to you.

You show in your actions you don't love me.

You show in your actions I don't care if you are dead on the corner bleeding out.

You just don't care, well then I know now you aren't there.
