The fear of failure is like a scab.

An irritable feeling that does not go away at first.

When you pick at it, it rips, bleeds, and becomes worse

The fear of failure is like a scab.

Stuck to you for what seems like an eternity

but leaves eventually.

When you least expect it.

The fear of failure is like a scab.

Time is its best friend.

If you allow it to heal on its own, it will mend.

The fear of failure is like a scab.

A wound that falls off and gives you new skin.

When you confront it with open arms, you both grin.

For the barrier that kept you from happiness and growth.

No longer stings when you approach it.

For you had enough valiance and clothe

To find a way through and broach it.
