Fear is like a graveyard

Modeled after Mother To Son by Langston Hughs

By Orion OrenPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

Child I will tell you this

Fear is like a graveyard

It’s dark and cold

It’s frightening and strange

But there is always a light you can carry

To light up the tombstones of your fear

And there is always a story to tell.

No matter how strange

No matter how cold or dark

And especially how frightening

Their is always a story behind the stone epitaphs

Behind the pyramids and half ovals

Their is always a story to tell

Fear is like a graveyard. Ready to be read.
