Fear

handfuls

By Harper Lewis Published 6 months ago • Updated 6 months ago • 1 min read

pedophile eyes stay open

through the darkest nights,

cold witnesses to the

desecration of the human spirit

they weave through body,

telling children

to take what shouldn’t

approach the strongest

adult sovereign secure

in a fortress of filth

secured by wealth;

folders and folders

of dirty little secrets

undoing the nation,

protecting

what should be prosecuted,

persecuting

what should be protected.

I’ll meet them in hell,

serve them to themselves,

nodding,

Yes, those were pearls

that were their eyes.

Come closer, bring all

of your memory of desire.

I’ll take it, wrap it in

barbed wire instead of

Barbie dolls,

then shove it

back into you

with the force

of a fucking comet

that won’t let you do

anything but drink

the dust

from this red rock,

landing your waste

inside you.
