looking up to a pulsating sky

this grand movement civilization
herding of man, shepherd his thoughts
dulled intellect, restrained passages
controlled industry move the masses
sedate the urges with given answers
push back the expiration dates
stale milk, pungent odor
the alchemist lives under the guise
of pharmaceutical companies profits
grinding of molars and sundry bones
feed the Cerberus, expound no more
blackened men bruised not voyeurs
distant echoes are always profound
