Fanciful Flowers

Are you even real?

By Seashell Harpspring Published about a month ago 1 min read

Oh fanciful flowers,

How are you even real?

Sea holly for the summer

When there is no red for winter.

A flower like a starfish

How do your petals know of ocean life?

Fire cracker flowers wait to burst,

While the doll eyes look upon their blooms

The sorrel colors sweet as candy,

While the ghost bell might hold a spirit.

The petals a sheet flowing...

Symbolizing the short life of flowers

Artificial ones may stay forever

Not need sun or water,

But the real holds the true essence

Of the full garden beauty experience.
