Quarantine has really got me thinking...
I am locked up behind the bars of my home.
The only place I feel safe in.
At Least I am not locked up alone,
Then again some people have been.
My boredom fills up any space.
My longing to go outside has never been greater.
Although we are not able to speak face to face,
I’m sure we will be able to later.
If it’s not boredom then hope fills the room.
On these days that may seem unknown,
A new history has just bloomed.
All in a familiar prison I call home.
